Abrasive sponge 7x10x2,5 cm - fine grain
The sponge is abrasive on 4 sides.
It is available in 3 different grains:
code SAB1 = sponge with coarse-grain
code SAB2 = sponge with medium-grain
code SAB3 = sponge with fine-grain
The interior of the sponge is made from black foam which makes the sponge slightly flexible. Consequently, the sponge is suitable for sanding also surfaces which are not flat, because pushing it against the object to be polished, it fits the shape.
It can be used for various jobs:
• To smooth the rough wood of the frame and, in particular, to sand the edge of the corners of the frames made with raw mouldings.
• In gilding, it can be used to smooth the gesso and the bole.
• It can also serve to smooth the sharp edge of the glass plates.
